ModernSTL is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization that seeks to protect and celebrate Modern architecture and design in the St. Louis region. ModernSTL fulfills this mission through hosting events, tours, and lectures, and by serving as a resource for those interested in St. Louis Modernism. ModernSTL’s membership constituency includes a variety of professional disciplines, and transcends the urban-suburban divide in St. Louis.

ModernSTL is an official “Friend” affiliate of DOCOMOMO US, the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to the documentation and conservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the Modern movement for nearly 25 years.
